Woman arrested in connection with Clare arson attack

Gardaí in Co Clare have arrested a 26-year-old woman in connection with a suspected arson attack on a house in Shannon over the weekend.

The woman is being questioned about a fire at the house in Purcell Park in the early hours of Sunday morning that detectives believe was started deliberately.

A man and three young children were treated for smoke inhalation after being rescued from the building by local gardaí.
