PSNI seek hit-and-run driver
Police in the North were today hunting a hit-and-run driver who drove into a crowd of children, leaving one boy badly injured.
The 14-year-old victim’s leg was shattered after he was knocked to the ground on a street in Co Armagh, Northern Ireland.
In a separate incident, a girl aged two suffered head cuts when her parents’ car was stoned in Derry.
Their Renault Megane was attacked on the Fern Road in the Galliagh area of the city late on Friday night.
A stone hit the window, showering the child in a rear seat with glass. She needed hospital treatment.
Earlier a small silver car, possibly a Fiesta or Corsa, had driven at youths as they stood on William Street in Milford.
The vehicle left the scene without stopping.
As well as having his leg broken in several places, the wounded teenager’s face was badly cut and bruised.
