Three fishermen rescued from trawler off Cork coast

The Ballycotton Lifeboat has been despatched to rescue three fishermen from their trawler off the coast of Co Cork.

The crew of the Paulona, who are from the locality, radioed for help shortly before 6am after their fishing gear became entangled in the propeller.

A lifeboat was quickly despatched and was due to reach the stranded vessel at around 7am.
