OCDR issues guidelines to combat internet scams

The Office of the Director of Consumer Affairs has issued guidelines to consumers to recognise and avoid internet money "scams".

Consumers who fear they are being targeted by suspicious offers or requests can now use this advice before deciding to hand over cash or information or making any commitments.
