Ahern praises Gardaí after IRA money-laundering arrests

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has congratulated the Gardaí following the arrest of seven people as part of a crackdown on alleged IRA money-laundering.

The six men and a woman were arrested during operations in Dublin and Cork this week that also led to the seizure of more than €3m in sterling and euro bank notes.
