Security van raided in Dublin

A quantity of cash has been stolen during an armed raid in Dublin.

A security van delivering to Portrane was intercepted by two men wearing balaclavas at around 10.30am.

One was carrying a sawn off shotgun while the second had an iron bar. No shots were fired and no-one was injured.

A getaway car recovered on Donabate beach is being technically examined.
