Man hospitalised after stabbing in Clonmel

A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing incident in Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

It is understood he was stabbed up to four times in the Regal Court area of the town shortly after 2pm.

He is being treated at St Joseph's Hospital, but it is not yet known how serious his condition is.
