One man was shot in the leg in Blanchardstown in Co Dublin this morning.

One man was shot in the leg in Blanchardstown in Co Dublin this morning.

The incident happened in Fortlawn Avenue at around 6.20am.

The man has been taken to James Connolly Memorial hospital. It is thought his injuries are not life-threatening.
