Asylum seekers deported after crackdown

More than 60 failed asylum seekers from eastern Europe were deported from Dublin today after a major crackdown by authorities.

The group, which included families with children, were placed on a specially chartered plane and accompanied by more than 30 gardaí as they were returned to Romania and Moldova.
