Aer Lingus plane struck by lightning at Dublin Airport

Thunder storms caused further disruption to flight schedules at Dublin Airport last night after an Aer Lingus plane preparing to depart for London was struck by lightning.

Passengers were evacuated from the aircraft and fire services were dispatched after smoke was spotted rising from one of the wings.
