The "Driver Reviver" is a campaign being launched today to alert drivers to the dangers of driving while tired.

The Chief Executive of the National Safety Council Pat Costello says it is important that the driver takes regular breaks from the wheel.

He added that falling asleep at the wheel is one of the main causes of road crashes in this country.
