Senior gardaí clash at Morris probe

Two senior members of the Gardaí confronted each other today across the chamber of the continuing Morris Tribunal probe into corruption allegations within the Co Donegal division of their force during the 1990s.

Superintendent John Fitzgerald, giving evidence for the fourth successive day at the Dublin-based inquiry, was cross-examined by his currently suspended colleague, Superintendent Kevin Lennon.
