SF reiterates call for election date
Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams has reiterated his call for the British government to announce a date for Assembly elections in the North.
Speaking ahead of a meeting with the Taoiseach in Dublin, Mr Adams said the Irish peace process would fritter away unless it was moved forward.
The British government cancelled Assembly elections scheduled for last May, ostensibly because of alleged ongoing IRA activities.
Republicans believe the election was cancelled in order to save the Ulster Unionist Party from being defeated by its anti-agreement rival, the Democratic Unionist Party.
