Report: Patriot missiles 'passed through Shannon'

The Government allowed 28 Patriot missiles to pass through Shannon Airport in June 2001, according to reports this morning.

The weapons, which were being transported from Israel to the United States, were on board a civilian cargo plane which landed at the Co Clare airport for a "technical stopover".
