Co Laois motorcycle victim is named

The motorcyclist who was killed in a crash yesterday morning in Co Laois has been named.

Gardaí named the victim as 39-year-old Patrick Gorman from Tullow Road, Carlow.

The man died when the motorcycle he was travelling on left the road at 8.30am yesterday near Killishin. A second man is being treated at St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny.

Mr Gorman was the third man to die in a motorcycle crash in 24 hours.
