Three killed in car crash
Three people died tonight in a road accident in Co Limerick.
The two-car collision happened between the villages of Herbertstown and Hospital.
All of the dead – thought to be two young men and woman – were in one of the vehicles, and the driver of the second car was critically injured.
The incident marked the Ireland’s second multi-fatality road accident in a little more than 24 hours.
Yesterday, a couple and their four-month-old daughter died when their car collided with a lorry in Co Wexford.
