Gardaí in Dublin and Co Louth have arrested six people in connection with the murder of 35-year-old David McGuinness in Tallaght earlier this month.

Gardaí in Dublin and Co Louth have arrested six people in connection with the murder of 35-year-old David McGuinness in Tallaght earlier this month.

They were detained during planned raids on addresses in Drogheda, Dundalk and Dublin.

Mr McGuinness was shot dead at his home in the Balrothery estate on the morning of July 8.
