250 Athlone workers to hear fate of jobs today

Two hundred and fifty jobs in Co Westmeath are hanging in the balance this morning.

Staff at the Athlone-based Manufacturers Services Ltd, which makes printed circuit boards, are meeting management this morning to hear details of the company's restructuring plans.

MSL has already announced 4,500 redundancies worldwide as part of the plans.
