Gardaí and police assist in foiling Turkish counterfeit operation

The Gardaí and the PSNI have assisted Turkish police in foiling a multi-million euro counterfeit operation producing fake football jerseys.

Earlier this week, the Turkish authorities, responding to information from the Gardaí and their colleagues in the North, raided a Turkish factory producing fake Manchester United and Liverpool jerseys.
