Farmer found dead is named

The 83-year-old farmer who was found dead at his home in Co Clare this morning has been named locally as Jack Daly.

The elderly man's body was found in a bedroom at approximately 7am after gardaí were called to the scene.

The area has been sealed off for technical examination and a post mortem is due to be carried out later today.
