A witness at the Morris garda corruption tribunal admitted today that she had been “a very naive person” not to become suspicious when her flatmate began collecting bullets, bomb-making fertiliser, walkie-talkie radios and other terrorist-linked paraphenalia.

Yvonne Devine said she had “probably” believed whatever answer fellow witness Adrienne McGlinchey had come up with when she asked her for an explanation at the flat they shared in Buncrana, Co Donegal, more than 10 years ago.
