Alleged IRA informant Adrienne McGlinchey offered a Morris Tribunal witness a cut of a “million pounds pay-out” if he backed up her story over garda involvement in the mixing of explosives at a shed owned by her mother, it emerged today.

A witness at the Morris garda corruption tribunal admitted today that she had been “a very naive person” not to become suspicious when her flatmate began collecting bullets, bomb-making fertiliser, walkie-talkie radios and other terrorist-linked paraphenalia.
