Tallaght nurses to begin industrial action

Nurses at Tallaght hospital in Dublin are due start industrial action this morning.

The nurses in the day surgical unit will carry out a work-to-rule in pursuance of their claim that the dedicated unit is being used as a norm for in-patient services.

The latest dispute comes after news that the Mater hospital is to cut its services by 10% because of a cash crisis there.
