Gardaí identify Boyne river body

Gardaí have identified the body of a man recovered from the River Boyne yesterday.

The Fisherman's River Rescue and Recovery Service found and removed his body from the water at the North Quay in Drogheda.

It is believed the young man had been missing for six weeks but gardaí have not yet released his name.
