Scottish man recovering from housefire injury

A Scottish man is receiving treatment in hospital today following a Christmas Day housefire in Co Louth.

A Scottish man is receiving treatment in hospital today following a Christmas Day housefire in Co Louth.

Ian Calhoun, aged 24, was seriously injured in the fire which broke out just after 6.30am yesterday morning in Dundalk.

He is recovering in intensive care at St James's Hospital in Dublin. Gardaí are still investigating the cause of the fire.
