The Department for Social and Family Affairs has pledged €149,000 to a series of initiatives to attract long term unemployed men back into education.

The money, which will go to the Dublin Adult Learning Centre (DALC) in Mountjoy Square, will be used to fund projects to cater for the needs of unemployed men with literacy difficulties.
