Teenager arrested in connection to Cork death

A fifth person has been arrested in Cork in connection with the death of a man earlier this month.

Detectives arrested a woman in her late teens earlier today at her home on Cork's northside.

The arrest was made at lunchtime and the young girl was taken to Bridewell Garda station for questioning.

20-year-old father of one John Butler from Knocknaheeny Avenue in the city was shot dead while walking with his girlfriend in the early hours of October 7.

Meanwhile, four men arrested earlier in relation to Mr Butler's death are still in custody.
