Two-thirds of Leaving Cert students terrified of failure

A survey of Leaving Cert students in 29 Irish schools has found that more than two-thirds are terrified of doing badly in their exams.

The Mental Health Ireland study also found that almost half of those questioned experience severe anxiety over their prospective career choice.
