Bomb experts examine suspect car in Newry

Bomb disposal experts are examining a suspect car parked in the grounds of a hotel in Newry, Co Down.

The vehicle is believed to be linked to a robbery this morning.

A gang of men, one of them believed to be carrying a handgun, escaped with a substantial sum of money after holding up two people in the car-park of the hotel.

Police have since evacuated the surrounding area.
