Pilgrims flock to hear Mayo 'Visionary'

Around 5,000 pilgrims have flocked to Achill Island today to hear a self-styled visionary warn of impending calamities allegedly revealed to her by the Virgin Mary.

Christina Gallagher, the founder of the House of Prayer on the Co Mayo island, said that God will send many calamities to purify the stench of sin and evil from the world.
