Drogheda Gardai recapture Dublin fugitive

Gardai in Drogheda, Co Louth, have recaptured a 29-year-old man who escaped from custody at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin on Tuesday.

Geoffrey Mitchell, from Monasterboice Road in Crumlin, absconded while awaiting sentencing for robbing more than €60,000 from a businessman in Tallaght last December.
