Two men are shot in Dublin

Two men are recovering in hospital after a shooting incident in Dublin last night.

Two people kicked in the front door of a house on Park Terrace in the Coombe at around 10.30pm last night and fired a number of shots.

A 21-year-old occupant was shot in the leg and a 46-year-old man was shot in the stomach. Both men are at St James Hospital where their condition is described as stable.

No arrests have been made and the scene has been preserved for technical examination.
