Junior Minister Liz O’Donnell has announced that Ireland will give an €12.5m to worldwide efforts to stop the spread of Aids.

The minister announced the extra funding following a meeting with Dr Peter Piot from UN-Aids, the United Nations body overseeing the global fight against the disease.
