Man dies in Longford accident

A young man died in a road accident in Co Longford yesterday evening.

An 18-year-old man has died in a road accident in Co Longford.

The man was killed when his motorbike was in collision with a car in Drumlish at about 5.30pm.

His death brings to 14 the total number of people killed on the nation's roads in the last fortnight.

His name will not be released until all members of his family have been informed.
