DUP to learn if challenge can go ahead

The Belfast High Court is expected to rule today on whether to grant the DUP a full judicial review of Northern Secretary John Reid’s decision not to call early Assembly elections.

Dr Reid was under a legal obligation to call fresh elections after the Assembly failed to elect a First Minister by midnight last Saturday.
