Building bosses call for workers to stop march
Construction companies have said they are officially opposed to a planned protest march by up to 1,000 construction workers.
Building bosses have called workers to turn up for their jobs as normal today.
A march from Liberty Hall to the office of the Tánaiste is expected to attract about 1,000 workers.
They will gather at Liberty Hall and march to the office of the Tánaiste, in a display of sympathy for families of those who have lost their lives in the industry.
Spokesperson for the workers, Paul Hansard, says it is time safety concerns on building sites were taken seriously.
