One man killed in Kildare road accident

A man has been killed in a road accident in Co Kildare.

The accident happened at around 2.30am this morning after the car he was driving collided head-on with another vehicle between Kilcock in Co Kildare and Enfield, Co Meath.

Two others who were in the car, including a 13-year-old boy, are in a serious condition in hospital.

Two people travelling in the second car were also hurt, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
