A new survey has found that the use and supply of cocaine is on the increase in Ireland.

The study, carried out by the Drug Misuse Research Division of Trinity College, showed that frequent cocaine users do not find their consumption of the drug damaging or problematic.

Paul Mayock, who was one of the researchers involved, said the findings indicated that cocaine is becoming a more socially-acceptable drug.
