Xerox announces massive losses

Xerox, which employs 3,000 people in Ireland, has become the latest IT giant to announce massive losses because of the global technological slowdown.

The US firm announced a loss of almost €320m for the second quarter of this year and said it will not return to profitability until the fourth quarter.
