A retired taxi driver has told the Saville inquiry about seeing IRA weapons being moved out of the Bogside area of Derry just before the march that sparked off the Bloody Sunday shootings.

Frankie Boyle told the inquiry into the shootings how six cars were used to bring weapons that were wrapped in plastic bags, to the nearby Creggan estate just hours before the march began on the early hours of Sunday the 30th of January 1972.

Mr Boyle, who was 34-years-old at the time, was on a night shift for a taxi firm and said that 25 men and four women were involved in the operation.
