Injunction against Aer Lingus lifted
The injunction granted to embattled Aer Lingus Chief Executive Michael Foley has been lifted.
In a lengthy ruling, a High Court judge decided the airline did have the right to suspend Foley without prior notice if he was found guilty of the charges laid before him.
The airline boss was granted the injunction after a board sub committee delivered an unfavourable report after investigating sex harassment allegations.
An appeal to the Supreme Court is still an option open to the chief executive.
