Potato growers dig deep for St Vincent de Paul

Potato growers from across Cork have united to support the Cork branch of the St Vincent de Paul for Christmas.

The move comes after the charity last week appealed for help from the public for their Christmas campaign following a 10% increase in calls this year.

Under the initiative, the growers will donate 20 cents from the sale of every bag of potatoes that carries the “Cork Potato Growers Support SVP” sticker.
