Heron & Grey restaurant in Dublin latest to get Michelin star

A small restaurant in a Dublin suburb has clinched a coveted Michelin star.

Charthouse in Dingle, Co Kerry: Awarded a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide for Ireland and the UK.

Heron & Grey in Blackrock, was revealed as a recipient of the culinary excellence award at a ceremony in London, bringing the number of Michelin-starred restaurants on both sides of the border in Ireland to 12.

Rebecca Burr, editor of the annual Michelin Guide to Great Britain and Ireland, said this year’s winners reflected the rich diversity and variety of Ireland’s restaurant scene.
