Eight Irish films to feature at Toronto festival

Eight Irish films are due to feature at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival which opened on Thursday.

"Handsome Devil’ includes Andrew Scott (‘Sherlock’), Moe Dunford (‘Vikings’), Amy Huberman (‘The Stag’), Michael McElhatton (‘Game of Thrones’), Fionn O’Shea (‘The Siege of Jadotville’), and Nick Galitzine in its cast."

Six Irish feature films will screen at the festival with Jim Sheridan’s The Secret Scripture

featuring Rooney Mara and Jack Reynor, Aisling Walsh’s Maudie starring Sally Hawkins and Ethan Hawke, Alan Gilsenan’s Unless, Lorcan Finnegan’s IFB Catalyst Project Without Name, John Butler’s Handsome Devil , and Gerard Barrett’s Brain on Fire.
