Man sentenced over ear biting

A man on anti-depression medication, who went for a walk after a couple of cans of beer, ended up calling to another man’s house, got into an altercation and bit both of the victim’s ears.

Details were outlined by Garda Daniel O’Donovan at Cork District Court yesterday in a case against Robert Cambridge of Clashduv Terrace, Glasheen, Cork.

Cambridge, aged 35, pleaded guilty to two charges of assault, causing harm to James O’Flynn.
