Cabinet to discuss 100,000 jobs goal
The Taoiseach and his ministers will evaluate the Coalition’s employment targets and look at what methods will be used to get people jobs over the coming year.
In his end of year interview, Enda Kenny said: “For me, unemployment is the problem here in terms of poverty, lack of interest and lack of get up and go because getting a job can dramatically change a person’s life. We are going to have a special Cabinet meeting on jobs on January 14. At that meeting, we will deal with issues like the action plan for jobs 2015, the draft of that.”
