PAC hits at Flannery’s ‘bullying’ allegations

The Dáil’s financial watchdog has hit back at claims by former Rehab chief executive Frank Flannery that they are out to “blackguard and bully” him.

PAC hits at Flannery’s ‘bullying’ allegations

Mr Flannery, who stood down as Fine Gael’s chief strategist after it emerged that he was also being paid to lobby ministers on charity issues, has signalled he will continue his tense stand-off with the Oireachtas Public Accounts Committee, over whether he will appear before the TDs.

PAC member Simon Harris has warned that the committee will carry out its threat to compel him to give evidence.
