Cork more competitive than Dublin

The 1,000 jobs created in Cork in the past month show how the city “has become a much more competitive location” than Dublin, according to Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney.

Another 250 jobs were announced in the city by the Taoiseach during a visit to Cork yesterday.

Enda Kenny said “it has been a good time for Cork” and that the benefits of investment in Cork City should filter out into the county.
