Chinese men charged over alleged cannabis find to seek bail

Five Chinese nationals facing charges related to the alleged seizure of €668,000 worth of cannabis cultivated at a business park unit in Rathcormac, in North Cork, will be going to the High Court to seek bail later this month.

The five defendants appeared by video link from prison to Cork District Court yesterday.

Defence solicitors Pat Horan, Donal Daly and Jerry Healy indicated to Judge Leo Malone that the five defendants would be seeking bail at the High Court on Jan 14.
