A Chinese national has been found not guilty on charges related to the seizure of over 800 cannabis plants with a street value over €600,000.

Five Chinese nationals facing charges related to the alleged seizure of €668,000 worth of cannabis cultivated at a business park unit in Rathcormac, in North Cork, will be going to the High Court to seek bail later this month.

Five Chinese men have been remanded in custody in connection with a garda raid on a cannabis growhouse in North Cork last Monday.
